Aaron Peirick Officially New Haven Boys Basketball Head Coach - New Business Teacher Announced

NEW HAVEN, Mo. -  At last night’s special meeting the New Haven School Board unanimously approved Aaron Peirick as the new boys basketball head coach following Ray Steinhoff’s announcement in March that he would be retiring.  Peirick will also replace Steinhoff as the new P.E. teacher after teaching Industrial Arts since he was hired in 2012.

Peirick has been the boys JV coach for the past two years (2012-2014) after Tim Strobel, who at the time was the High School Principal, stepped down after coaching the JV boys for 20 years.

Steinhoff was also the High School Athletic Director, however the board has not publicly discussed if they plain to hire a new AD.

With Peirick taking the high school P.E. position the school district will have to hire an Industrial Arts teacher.

The board also approved the hiring of Laura Strickland to replace high school Business Teacher Debbie River who announced back in may that she would be retiring.

The only information we know about Strickland is that she lives in Eureka, Mo.
