Aaron Ray Underwood, 31, of New Haven, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Aaron was born in Palm Springs, California on July 31, 1982, the son of Harold Copeland and Jana D. (Underwood) Lockhart.

Aaron was a fan of the Oakland Raiders football team and he liked watching MMA. He enjoyed target shooting, playing basketball with his family and friends and his car. He was the co-owner of Sonic Restaurant in Union, Missouri, where he spent a lot of his time.

Aaron is survived by his father Harold Copeland & wife Emily of La Quinta, California, his mother Jana D. Lockhart & husband Richard of New Haven, Missouri, a brother Christopher Woods of Marysville, California, a sister Rikki Rickman & husband Rob of Aurora, Missouri, a sister Shannon Lockhart of Ash Grove, Missouri, a brother Cody Glenn of Washington, Missouri, a sister Anna Lockhart & fiance Dustin Taber of Creve Coeur, Missouri, a brother Dallas Lockhart of Washington, Missouri, a brother Spencer Underwood of New Haven, Missouri, a brother Dean Lockhart of New Haven, Missouri, a brother Bryan Hamm of La Quinta, California, brother Travis Hamm of La Quinta and a sister Catherine Alderson of La Quinta, his grandmothers Betty Copeland of La Quinta, California and Dean Greenwood of Skull Valley, Arizona, his grandfather Wayne Copeland and wife Joyce of Indio, California, by uncles Kenneth Underwood of New Haven, Glenn Lockhart & wife Terri of Ash Grove, Missouri and Darrell Copeland & wife Julie of Palmyra, Tennessee, by two aunts Freda Lockhart of Chiriaco Summit, California and Cheryl Garcia & husband Rudy of La Quinta, by three nephews Chris Griffith and Marshal and Hunter Hamm and a niece Evalyn Watson.

Visitation will be Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, Missouri, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Jones officiating.
