NEW HAVEN, Mo. - The annual Black-Gold Softball Tournament returns to New Haven City Park on Saturday June 27th and Sunday June 28th.
The annual mens fastpitch tournament in New Haven dates back to the 1960s with the New Haven Cubs tournament. After the Cubs folded in 1999, Black-Gold took over the tournament and keeping a time honored tradition alive, making this the 55th fastpitch tournament.
The Black-Gold team is comprised of players originating from Franklin and Gasconade Counties.
Games start Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Lions and Bock Fields in New Haven and the championship game will be played Sunday afternoon at Lions Field.

Teams from across the United States will compete such as Kansas, Illinois, and of course Missouri.
For the second year in a row there will be a mens’ fastpitch softball reunion held at the pavilion near Lions Field starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Seventy former players from all over Missouri attended last year and once again this year all former players and fans from the state of Missouri are invited.
