NEW HAVEN, Mo. - This weekend the New Haven Care Center will be hosting their 3rd Annual Screwball Tournament fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association. This year’s tournament will kick off with one of the Care Center’s Board of Directors showing their love by kissing a pig. (Click here to see who kissed the pig.)
Over the past month each member had their picture on collection cans that were placed throughout local businesses. Friday night at 6 p.m. the winner will be announced and awarded a kiss with a real live pig.
Volunteers will be selling hot dogs, pork burgers, nachos and much more from the concession stand both Friday evening and all day on Saturday.
If you have never seen a Screwball game then take advantage of the beautiful weather forecasted for Friday and Saturday, stop by Lions Field, grab some BBQ, and enjoy some great entertainment.
All the proceeds from concession sales and tournament entry fees benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
