New Haven, MO. - UPDATE: - After looking at the latest information it still appears New Haven and areas along the Missouri River remain right on the line of freezing rain and just rain.
9:45 - Franklin and Gasconade Counties are now under a Freezing Rain Aevisory until 12 pm Monday. The National Weather Service just issued this advisory at 9:45 pm.
Conditions Monday morning are beginning to appear worse than initially predicted a few hours earlier now that both counties are included in the Freezing Rain Advisory.
It is going to be a dicy Monday morning for School Officials as temperatures will hover around or below freezing as New Haven sits right on the line for freezing rain.
Precipitation is expected to begin moving across the area between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. when temperatures will be below freezing, however with high’s predicted in the mid 40’s it will be all about when warmer air begins pushing through.
Areas to our east have a higher chance of freezing rain lasting in the early daytime hours before warming weather moves in.
Areas northing of the Missouri River are under a Freezing Rain Advisory until 12 p.m. on Monday and areas further north and west are under a Winter Weather Advisory.
On the bright side of things the rest of the week will be warmer with a chance of thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday.
