Gerald, MO - Tuesday evening, at a regular meeting of the Gerald Board of Aldermen, bids were opened for the upcoming project of the renovation of City Hall.
Two bids were submitted to remodel the current Board Room, which includes a new roof, bathrooms, a 28 foot addition onto the front of the building, and removing and adding various walls.
The room that is currently used for the Aldermen Meetings will be used by Planning and Zoning and the addition will be put to use as a Court Room and Aldermen Board Room.
Sieve Contractors, Washington, submitted a bid of $206,000 and Pohlmann Construction, Rosebud, bid $146,950. The Board agreed to accept Pohlmann’s bid in a 3-1 vote.
