Owensville, Mo. - By the time Hunter Hayes takes the stage at 8:30 p.m. some fans will have waited over 12 hours. The first Hayes Fanatics were in line at 6:30 a.m. and two girls drove all the way from Austin, Texas with their father just to see Hunter Hayes.
At 3:45 p.m. the gates were opened and the race was on to get as close to the stage as possible and stand there for another four and half hours.
The Gasconade County Sheriff's Department, Owensville EMS, and Fair Event Staff, should be commended for having a well executed plain. They went as far as handing bottles of water and water coolers available for those waiting in line.
