New Haven 4th Grade Volleyball Takes 2nd Place At Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. - The future looks bright for the Shamrocks Volleyball program after New Haven’s 4th grade volleyball team took 2nd place in the Montgomery County Volleyball Tournament Friday night. 

The Shamrocks got off to a rock’n start, going 2-0 in pool play, giving them the number 1 seed for the single elimination Championship bracket play.

New Haven would out last Montgomery County, winning in three sets (13-15, 15-13, 15-13) and advancing to face Owensville in the championship match.

Owensville would end up sneaking past New Haven (16-18, 10-15) in two sets, handing the Shamrocks their only loss in the tournament. (3-1)
