Montgomery County, Mo. - Megan Shockley’s game high 15 points and nine rebounds with Molly Munsinger adding 12 points led the Shamrocks to a 48-39 win over Moberly to win Consolation in the Montgomery County Tournament.
New Haven jumped out to a 21-9 halftime lead, extending it to 33-19 after three quarters before Moberly would make a late four quarter run.

New Haven remained in control early in the fourth, leading 42-28 with under five minutes remaining when Moberly began pressing full court that forced several New Haven turnovers, sparking a 11-2 run as the Spartans quickly pulled with in five (44-39).
Munsinger hit two clutch free-throws to end Moberly’s run, holding them scoreless in the final minute, as the Shamrocks improve to 2-1.
New Haven shot 42% from the field while Moberly shot just 38%. New Haven also out rebounded Moberly 33 to 20.
Along with Covington and Munsinger hitting double figures, New Haven had several girls step up with Erin Scheer and Taylor Covington adding six points and Mackenzy Vedder and Kayla Borcherding both contributing four.
