Laura Miller who lives in Columbia just told QuickNewsNow that over 2,000 people are without power. The winter storm had also caused a complete internet outage across central Missouri.
1:50 p.m.- Columbia, Mo. and surrounding areas have been slammed with snow amounts ranging from eight inches to as much as 12 inches. Heavy snow and blizzard like conditions has caused power outages and the roof of Break Time to collapse at Vandiver/Paris Road in Columbia.
Meteorologist for ABC 17 Neville Miller tweeted that areas in Randolph County have been without power since 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. At 7:30 a.m. 11 inches of snow had fallen in Benton County Missouri.
