Wnuk and Rogers named Little Mister and Little Miss Gasconade County

Owensville, Mo. - With a showing of 29 entertaining contestants, the 2013 Little Mister and Little Miss Gasconade County Fair was a big hit with the crowd Wednesday evening at the fair.

Contestants from Owensville, Rosebud, Gerald, Hermann, Morrison, Cuba, and Bland gave it their all as they competed in the on-stage portion of the competition, exhibiting their personality and a talent. 

Monday evening, the contestants participated in a round of interviews with the judges.

George Wnuk, son of George and Tina Wnuk of Owensville, was crowned Little Mister Gasconade County.  He entertained the judges by singing and talking about his favorite things.  When asked what his favorite ride at the fair was, George said "tramplines, but there aren't any here!"  His favorite part of the fair is the Demolition Derby because he gets to play in the dirt.

Tara Rogers, daughter of Josh and Rachel Rogers of Owensville was crowned Little Miss Gasconade County.  She sang "You are my Sunshine". 

Runners up included Shane Quesenbelly of Morrison, son of Shane and Ashley Quesenbelly, 1st Runner Up; Keigan Glaser, son of Keith and Dyana Glaser of Owensville, 2nd Runner Up; Kelby Herbel, daughter of Isaiah and Nicole Herbel of Rosebud, 1st Runner Up; and Kimber Mayberry, daughter of Mindy Mayberry and the late Matthew Fisher of Owensville.
