Tracy Williams - Hermann Area District Hospital's Employee of 3rd Quarter

Hermann, Mo. - Tracy Williams, Physical Therapist, who works in HADH rehabilitation department and Home Health department was, selected Employee of 3rd Quarter (July, August, September) by the Employee Appreciation Committee of Hermann Area District Hospital.

The employee of the quarter is selected by a committee of peers based upon the employee going above and beyond for the hospital and the community we serve.

St. Peter’s UCC To Begin Children’s Christmas Play Practices This Sunday

Children’s Christmas Program Practices begin this Sunday, November 10, 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. for grades 2-6. Younger grades will also begin practicing songs to share at our annual event. This year’s program is “A Capital C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S.” The play will be presented on Sunday, December 22 at 7:00 p.m. We encourage you to bring your children to Sunday School, so we can give them parts in this year’s program.

CONSUMER ALERT: 500 Gallons of Ozark Mountain Creamery Skim Milk to be Removed from Store Shelves

Jefferson City, Mo. – The State Milk Board, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Agriculture and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, announced today that Ozark Mountain Creamery of Mountain Grove, Mo. is voluntarily recalling some of its milk from the marketplace.

Test results received today, October 18, were positive for high residual phosphatase. High levels of residual phosphatase may indicate potentially unpasteurized or improperly pasteurized milk, which can contain harmful pathogens.

The sample was collected October 14 during a randomly scheduled, routine inspection and tested in the St. Louis County Health Department Laboratory.

Adam Puchta Winery To Host 3rd Annual Doe Camp For Crusade Against Cancer

Hermann, Mo.– Adam Puchta Winery in Hermann, MO will hold its 3rd annual Doe Camp on Friday, November 8, 2013, to raise money for the Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer. The event will be held at the winery, located at 1947 Frene Creek Road, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Doe Camp is a ladies night out, however “bucks” are welcome. The evening will feature wine tastings, several cash and carry vendors, massages, raffles and much more.
