New Haven, Mo. - The New Haven Police and Franklin County Sheriff's Departments declares their participation in the nation’s annual “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” drunk driving crackdown a success, the New Haven Police Dept. reported one DWI arrest, two Warrant Arrests, 16 citations ranging from no insurance, speeding, and spinning tires to Driving while Revoked and Using the License Plates of another person.
There was a total of 120 car stops, and 107 warnings for multiple violations including fail to stop at stop signs, equipment violations, speeding and not registering the vehicle.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office reported that more than 4 drunk driving arrests, 2 fugitive arrests and 74 citations were made during the enforcement period, which ran from August 16 to September 2, 2013.
