NHHS TV/Video Class Producing WWII Memoir Asking Area WWII Veterans For Help

NEW HAVEN, Mo. - The New Haven High School TV/ Video class requests the assistance of New Haven area WWII Veterans in the production of a WWII video memoir that the class is producing.

Group and individual interviews will be conducted  on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 9:30am-11:30am in the New Haven High School Library.

Family Of Six Loses Everything In House Fire - Asking For Your Help

-- On Sunday a tragic fire destroyed a St. Clair family’s home as they lost everything except for the clothes they were wearing when they safely escaped; in fact one of the four children had only a pair of shorts on.

St. Clair and surrounding communities are coming together to help out the mom and dad and their four children by asking for anyone who can help.

Currently the family is staying at a hotel until they can find another home and start rebuilding their lives and memories.  (Below is information on sizes of clothes as well as where items can be dropped off at.)

This Week At The Walt Featured Film - Fury - Last Chance Showing On Thursday of The Best of Me.

NEW HAVEN, Mo - The Walt Theater will kick off this week on Thursday (Nov. 13) with a Last Chance Show of The Best Of Me (Rated PG-13) with a showtime of 6 p.m.

The featured show this weekend (Nov. 14-16) is Fury (Rated R) staring  Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, and Logan Lerman.

There will be four showings of Fury, Friday 7:30, Saturday 7:30, and Sunday 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. (Note doors open 30 minutes before start time. Showtimes, dates, and Official Trailer below)

Annual German Dance at Boondocker Inn Nov. 7 - Benefit German-American Student Exchange

NEW HAVEN, Mo. - The New Haven German-American Club will sponsor its annual German Dance at the Boondocker Inn in New Haven on Friday evening, November 7.  The dance will feature the music of the popular Loehnig German Band.  The band will play music for all ages from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Dance tickets can be purchased for $5.00 per person at the door.  Proceeds from the event go to support the German-American Club’s student exchange program and to support German heritage activities in the community.

Local Church Helping Community - Supplying Winter Cloths For Anyone In Need

NEW HAVEN, Mo. - In 2011, members of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ were called to create a ministry that they call “The Coat Rack”.

Thanks to generous donations from church members and the community, they have a large selection of new and gently used coats, hoodies, hats, gloves and scarves for all ages and sizes.

NEW HAVEN, Mo - The Walt Theater will have shows on Thursday through Sunday, beginning with Gone Girl (Rated R) on Thursday then four showings of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day on Friday, Saturday, and two shows on Sunday.

Movie Change - Gone Girl Now Showing This Weekend At Walt

NEW HAVEN, Mo - The Walt Theater has added an additional showtime with two showings on Sunday beginning with the first at 2 p.m. and the second at 5:30 p.m.  Doors will open 30 minutes before showtime.  Note:  The second showtime has been moved up so doors will open at 5:00.

This weekend (Oct. 24th - 26th) at the Walt Theater in downtown New Haven there will be FOUR showings of Gone Girl (Rated R) staring  Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, and Neil Patrick Harris. (NEW Showtimes, dates, and Official Trailer below)
