Eric Scott Peterson, age 41, of New Haven passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014 in New Haven. He was born Washington on October 31, 1972 to John and Sylvia (nee Lakebrink) Peterson.

He was united in marriage to Kara Phillips on June 22, 2011 in Hermann, Missouri. Eric is a former member of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department and the Washington Jaycees.

He will be greatly missed by his family and numerous friends.

Whitney Johnee Gabathuler, 23, of Big Spring, Missouri, entered into the kingdom of heaven on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 3:48 p.m. at Mercy Hospital, Creve Coeur, Missouri, due to injuries from an automobile accident.

Whitney was born Friday, September 14, 1990 at 3:34 a.m. in Washington, Missouri, to John and Sharon (David) Gabathuler. Whitney shared her birthday with her dad John and grandpa Ed Gabathuler.

Kenneth Olen Gerdes, 53, of New Haven, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013 at New Haven Care Center.

Mr. Gerdes was born in Bonne Terre, Missouri on February 28, 1960, the son of the late Olen and Madaline (Meyer) Gerdes.

Kenneth previously worked for Edison Brother Distributing Center as a maintenance worker. He was currently working for NOA Medical Industries in Washington.

Aaron Ray Underwood, 31, of New Haven, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Aaron was born in Palm Springs, California on July 31, 1982, the son of Harold Copeland and Jana D. (Underwood) Lockhart.

Aaron was a fan of the Oakland Raiders football team and he liked watching MMA. He enjoyed target shooting, playing basketball with his family and friends and his car. He was the co-owner of Sonic Restaurant in Union, Missouri, where he spent a lot of his time.

Marsha Marie (Hasty) Hudson, age 58, of Branson, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013. She was born November 21, 1954, in Muscatine, Iowa. Marsha was the daughter of George and Helen (Pogue) Hasty. Cremation is under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.

Liz Ann Holdmeyer (March 12, 1971 - November 13, 2013)

Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Barrett-Holdmeyer, 42, of Washington, passed away in Grapevine, Texas on November 13, 2013.

Liz was born in Washington on March 12, 1971 to Hal and Bette (nee Holtmeyer) Barrett.

She was united in marriage to Bernie Holdmeyer on January 31, 1997 in Jamaica.

Liz soaked up life, met every day with a smile, loved having a good time, and would more often than not, instead of lamenting her own problems, she would try to help her family and friends with theirs.

Tyson Wayne Ryland (April 12, 1983 - November 11, 2013)


Tyson Wayne Ryland, age 30, of Washington passed away in Washington on Monday, November 11, 2013. He was born in West Branch, Michigan to Wayne and the late Jan Ryland on April 12, 1983.

Tyson served one tour of duty in Iraq from 2003 until 2004. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family. He also spent his free time volunteering at an animal shelter in Tucson, Arizona.

Private services will be held and memorial donations are appreciated in his memory to the VFW Post 2661

Mary Catherine "Mitzi" Bean (November 20, 1951 - November 13, 2013)

Mary Catherine "Mitzi" Bean, 61, of New Haven, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Mary was born in Washington, Missouri on November 20, 1951, the daughter of the late Sylvester and Mary Alyce (Hatfield) Hoerstkamp.

She was the wife of Leslie Eugene Bean.  They were married April 15, 1972 at Assumption Church, New Haven, MO.  Leslie survives in New Haven.

Mary is also survived by her three children, daughter Pauli Anschutz & husband Jeffery of Beaufort, son Eric Bean & wife Karen of Berger and daughter Holli Rolfes & husband Michael of St. Louis, by a sister Sarah Stock of New Haven, by seven grandchildren Evan, Corey and Aly Bean, Matthew Rector, Eve Anschutz and Elyse and Elaina Rolfes. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother John Hoerstkamp and a sister Ruth Ann Riegel.
