The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for both Franklin and Gasconade Counties in effect until Midnight.
Primary threats include:
Scattered damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts to 75 mph possible
Isolated very large hail events to 2 inches in diameter possible and a tornado or two possible.

Fire Crews shouldn’t have to worry about brush fires on Friday or Saturday as a winter storm will push through the area beginning Friday morning.
