LeRoy F. Ruediger, Jr. (July 20, 1936 - May 16, 2014)

LeRoy  F.  Ruediger, Jr.,  77, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Mercy Hospital, Washington, Missouri.

Mr. Ruediger was born in Berger, Missouri on July 20, 1936, the son of the late LeRoy W. Sr.,  and Edna (Willimann) Ruediger.

He was the husband of Annette D. (Heberle) Ruediger.  They were married July 23, 2007 at St. Paul U.C.C., Hermann.  Annette survives in Hermann.

Hermann Area District Hospital Day

Hermann Area District Hospital celebrated Hospital Day on May 14th.  The theme for the day was the “Kentucky Derby” a contest was held for the best derby hat.  Winners were: "Place" - Kris Heymeyer, "Win" - Tammy Ellis, and "Show" - Dana Gooch.

LaVerne E. Hemeyer (December 12, 1923 - May 13, 2014)

LaVerne E. Hemeyer, 90, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Frene Valley Health Center.

Mrs. Hemeyer was born in Pershing, Missouri on December 12, 1923, the daughter of the late Leo and Anna (Modrow) Keller.

She was the widow of Marvin W. Hemeyer. They were married June 20, 1943 at Zion-St. Peter's U.C.C., Pershing, Missouri. Marvin preceded her in death on May 22, 2005.

Katie Kantley’s Famous Vintage Collection To Be Auctioned Off - Proceeds Benefit NH Community Track Project

New Haven, Mo. - Katie Kantley has announced that she will be donating her entire vintage fashion collection to be sold in a live auction at the New Haven American Legion Hall on Sunday, May 18th.

All proceeds will be donated to the New Haven Community Track Project.

The auction will begin at 12 p.m. with doors opening at 11:30am.

Over 20 pieces will be auctioned by auctioneer Keva Limberg, with garments being modeled by current New Haven Track athletes.

The varsity girls FRC Champion is Union, Boys Varsity Champion - Owensville, Boys JV FRC Champion - Pacific, and the Girls FRC JV Champions, New Haven.

Horsin’ Around Fun Show Back For A Third Year

– Here we go again!  For the past two years the Horsin’ Around fun Show has been offered as a “Fun”draiser for St. George School.  The show initially began with one person and has now evolved into a committee of parishioners and supporters of St. George School who want to raise funds while having a great time.  The Horsin’ Around Fun Show will be held on Saturday June 7, 2014 at 10am.  Admissions are $2 per person and children 5 and under are free.
