MO-TF1 Rescued Over 100 Pets - Helped Over 600 People

MO-TF1 Final Update - MO-TF1 arrived safely at Boone County Fire Headquarters today around 3:45 p.m. this eveing.

Everyone was doing well and glad to be home.

During their 6 days in Larimer County, CO MO-TF1 personnel searched/evaluated 1133 structures, provided medical, evacuation and humanitarian assistance to more than 600 Larimer County citizens and assisted with the evacuation of over 100 pets.

, Mo. - Seconds ago Boone County Fire Chief Scott Olsen, released the following statement:

At 10:00 p.m. on September 14, 2013, Missouri Task Force 1 (MO‐TF1) was activated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to deploy to Colorado to assist with search and rescue efforts. Massive flooding has affected 12 Colorado counties.
