One Arrested For Making Threats With A Knife

SULLIVAN, Mo. - Early Monday morning Franklin County Deputies arrested 22-year-old Perry Crawford of St. Clair, Mo. after he allegedly threatened several individuals with a knife at a residence in the 1000 block of East Springfield Road.

At the time of the dispute two children, one and two months old, were located at the residence by deputies

This morning Franklin County Sheriff Gary Toelke said that deputies had responded of a report of a domestic disturbance involving a knife.

After deputies arrived on the scene they were told by individuals that Crawford, who was still at the residence, threatened them with a knife, however Crawford denied the allegations.

Shots Fired During Domestic Dispute In St. Clair

ST. CLAIR, Mo. - Sunday morning  at approximately 8:30 AM, deputies responded to the 900 block of Davis Street outside St.Clair in reference to a domestic dispute.

Upon arrival deputies learned that a husband and wife were separated and living apart.  The husband was staying elsewhere and had returned to the residence to pick up tools.

Michael Murphy Arrested After Being On The Run

Michael Murphy (pictured left) had been on the run since Feb. 18 after breaking into a home and allegedly held victium at gun point.

St. Clair, Mo.- Michael Murphy, the suspected wanted in an Assault First case in Franklin County, was arrested yesterday afternoon by Jefferson County Deputies.

Murphy is accused of breaking in to a residence on Virginia Mines Road during the early morning hours of February 18.

The victim reported that Murphy pointed a handgun at her head demanding money.  Murphy allegedly pulled the trigger of the weapon twice  but the weapon did not fire.  He then fled on foot.

St. Clair Woman Held At Gunpoint - Suspect Identified And Is At Large

5 p.m. - UPDATED - Police searching for man pictured left for this mornings home invasion.

St. Clair, Mo. - Moments ago Franklin County Sheriff Gary Toelke said they have identified the suspect as Michael Murphy, white male, age 39 from St. Clair. 

Deputies are currently searching for Murphy and are asking the public with any information on his where abouts to contact the Franklin County Sherriff's Department at 636-583-2560. 

Lady Shamrocks Knock Off St. Clair In Third Place Game - Fall To Sullivan In Conference Play

In last night’s Girls Hermann Tournament Third Place make up game, Rachel Steinhoff scored 19 points and Stephanie Gerling added a season high 12 points as the Lady Shamrocks defeated St. Clair 44-39.

Steinhoff helped fend off St. Clair’s fourth quarter comeback by hitting four straight free throws in the last 60 seconds after St. Clair pulled within one, giving New Haven their 16th win of the year headed into tonight's battle with Hermann.

Two Masked Men Caught On Surveillance Video Breaking Into St. Clair VFW

St. Clair, Mo. - Early Wednesday morning Franklin County Deputies responded to the VFW hall, located on the North Service Road in St. Clair reference an Alarm Sounding.

Upon securing the VFW, it was found a door had been pried open and the lock compromised. 

Video surveillance shows two suspects made entry into the building at 5:01am.  The suspects are described as two males average height and weight.  Both were wearing Dark hoodie sweatshirts and Blue Jeans.

St. Clair Man Murders His Father

Update: - 2:59 p.m.
St. Clair, Mo. - The suspect in Thursday's murder has been identified as William Osborn, 33-year-old white male of St. Clair Mo.

He has been charged with second degree murder and is currently being held at the Franklin County jail.

 St. Clair Man Arrested In Graveyard Robbery

St. Clair, Mo. - Russell Funeral Home reported on Monday a large number of urns had been stolen from their cemetery.

This morning Sheriff Gary Toelke said deputies were contacted by the owners of Poor Boy’s Recycling in St. Clair saying, “Someone had just attempted to scrap cemetery urns”.

The owner was able to provide deputies with a description of the vehicle and one of the employees recognized the person attempting to scrap the urns.
